From the 19th-21st May, The modern dance company ‘Antique Dances’ will present ‘Ingenium’ at the Actors Church in Covent Garden, London – a three night choreographic platform presenting dance from six diverse dance companies that showcases new UK and International choreographic talent.

Tights and Tiaras supports this event, so if you live in London or nearby, make sure to drop by for exiting dance performances three nights in a row. The director of Antique Dances, Holly Noble wrote me some lines with more info on the event, check it out:

Created in August 2010 by Holly Noble, Artistic Director of Antique Dances, the platform aims to help and provide emerging dance companies, of all genres, the opportunity to showcase their work in the beautiful surroundings of The Actors Church in Covent Garden as well as providing a regular platform for dancers and choreographers to participate in. Along with offering choreographers a unique opportunity we also hope that the platform gives people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to come and explore and be involved with exciting new and innovative dance.

In Ingenium five new companies have been selected to perform with us. After receiving many applications the companies chosen to perform are Beyond Repair Dance, Maxwell Dance Project, Uchenna Dance, Diciembre Dance and Embody Dance. All hugely diverse in their work, choreography and ideas, we are very excited to have them performing with us in May.
