The day before the day..

So, tomorrow’s our big premiere.

The dancers are ready, light is set, steps are rehearsed – now we finally get to show them. Eric, the choreographer, has been talking about holding us in a leash, and what a great  feeling it will be finally getting loose on the stage.

To be honest, I’m more looking forward to the moment when the curtain goes down (although there is no curtain. There is no wings, no curtains, no nothing. Stripped stage – an all inclusive theatre experience ) and I can sit down in my changing-room, knowing that we’re over the top. A premiere is a great experience, and much fun, but man it is tiring as well. Truth be said, that’s all forgotten tomorrow, but right now – the night before – I just want to get over with it!
