Coolbreezeband.com were cool enough to design a logo for the September Shock Syndrome.

Cause: Decreased training combined with more spare-time. During the summer-months, the dancer gets exposed to situations she or he is not accustomed to, like beach parties and care-free days in the sun.

Symptoms: Physical weakness. The patient may complain about heavy limbs and sore muscles. Motivational issues may occur, and the patients intake of alcohol may increase.

Cure: Patients are usually healed by a strict director and/or busy performance schedule. Although relatively easily cured, the SSS is known to re-occur after longer breaks. Sometimes, strategically timed summer intensives may help prevent the syndrome.

Feel like your body is made of concrete? You’ve got the September Shock Syndrome!!
